KINDNESS, ONE PAGE FROM MY BOOK ANNIE OMAR

I admire my mothers endless warmth towards people. My eyes are the witness of the moments when her soul would've shattered. The moments when she was so strong to smile towards the angry faces. The moments when she opened the door for the people who pushed her out from their homes. The moments, when people talked behind her back and smile in front of her face. The moments, when she gave food from her own plate. The moments, when she wasn't a society standard. The moments, when she needed kindness, love and guidance. The moments, when she needed a voice but the people stayed silent.

Oh I desperately want to help those people who at the time are strong in their words... knowing that it will break a soul... knowing that they have to cover up with their lies... knowing that after this it will never be the same.

It's such a beautiful feeling to be proud of your roots. It's beautiful to not feel ashamed of who you are and where you come from. Don't ever let anyone or anything make you feel like you are not good enough. You are so wonderfully made by the Greatest Almighty. The only One who loves you seventy times more than your own mother. Who listens to your unspoken words. Who collects your tears and showers you with His blessings. You deserve all of the happiness, love, health, peace, goodness and kindness in the world. I pray more of this comes to you every single day ~AnnieOmar
