My Chicken Kebab Recipe And A Small Trick To Make Them In Perfect Shape
(Easy Recipe For Beginners Too)
You will need 2kg chicken Qeema, 2 Onions, 1 medium size Potato, a small bunch of fresh Coriander, few Garlic cloves and some dry spices...Starting from left to right in picture below:
2.1/2 tablespoons Red chilli powder, 1/2 tablespoon Turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon Kalvonji (black seeds), 1/2 tablespoon Garam masala(is a blend of ground spices), 1/2 tablespoon Pearl millet(Bajra seeds), 2 tablespoons Coriander seeds, 1 table spoon Cummin seeds, 2 tablespoons Salt (or to your own liking)
Chop onions, potato, coriander however, you feel easy. I shredded potato and chopped onions in blender...
I often use kitchen scissors to cut coriander and green chillies (it is very easy with scissors) by the way do you like my nail varnish. It is Revlon - Spanish Moss 190...
Mix well with your hands (wear a glove if you do not like a stain of turmeric powder)
Marinate for 30 minutes before frying or grilling...
I put half in container for the evening and half in freezer bag for next week...
Now it is time to explain a small trick to make them in perfect shape!
You will need one shopping bag (you can use foil too), one round plate (something to press down), and some water so it will not stick...
Dip your fingers in water, slightly wet the surface of shopping bag and make medium size chicken ball...
Cover the chicken ball with shopping bag (just like in the picture below)…
Put the plate on top of it and press slightly until it feels like close to the bottom...
Take off your plate and shopping bag. You will see a perfect round shape of chicken ball into a kebab...
To get it off take the shopping bag with your left hand on to right hand (so kebab will slightly slide off on your right hand) Remove the bag…
Now the kebabs are ready so get an ice cold drink put your feet up pop your favourite show on and MUNCH x!

    1. They do taste good. Yes beautiful, back then I was only a egg and tea maker (ha-ha) now I add my own flavours. I also make chappali Kebab in Ramadaan do you add besan (gram flour)? I wanted to know how it taste with it. What do you add in Galwat kebab? Would love to try something different in Ramadaan (: ♡ x!
